Well, i have no photos to share with you of my art play from last night, because my attempts at using transparencies and the clear, acrylic caulk were an epic fail. I did manage to get very pale transfers when i used plain white acrylic paint, but again, not the results I had hoped for. Not sure what I am doing wrong, because i have done this type of transfer (with acrylic paint) and had it turn out fine. Perhaps stress and lack of sleep have me forgetting some crucial point...
What types of transfers do you all have success with?

Howdy Maria,
I have had some success using INKJET printer paper images with:
-packing tape
-clear contact paper
-soft gel medium - gloss (Golden)
-matte gel medium - matte (Liquitex)
With weeks old transparencies - some success with - soft gel medium - gloss (Golden)
But I'm also still experimenting.
Would love for you to stop by and become a follower on my blog when you have a moment or two.

Hi Maria,
Thank you for your comment! I wish I could give you some good advice on transfers (sigh) I have not mastered it though and my results are usually bad-lol. Your cat is gorgeous.
Hi Maria,
I have several posts about transfers on my blog. I just recently had success with Elmers Clear Caulk and inkjet printed Apollo 7039 transparencies. Email me if my posts arent' enuf help and I'll do what I can. and BTW I show my failures too so don't be scared, teehee....xoSusan
